Matt’s experience began as he worked alongside some of the greatest chefs in the country at some of the best restaurants.
In his first year at Carlu at O&B group, he was nominated for the Rising Star award out of hundreds of employees. He was recognized for his attention to detail, work ethic, and his contribution to the dishes that elevated Carlu to its great reputation.
Matt gained further experience during his time at Canoe Restaurant in Toronto, which has been one of Canada’s highest-rated restaurants for many years.
He now brings his skills home to Sault Ste. Marie and is eager to share his plates with you. Fresh, high-quality food prepared by a local, exquisitely talented, and hardworking Chef.
